This notice is given under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and covers only the althevia.net website. Althevia products such as Cosmic have their own notices.

What we process and why

This is a presentation site: it needs no registration and has no forms. We process only the data listed below. Browsing data is necessary to view the site; writing to us is optional. We make no automated decisions and do no profiling.

• Browsing data. When you visit, the infrastructure hosting the site records your IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type in technical logs. These are needed to run the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use them to identify or profile visitors, and they are kept only as long as those purposes require.
• Emails you send us. If you write to info@althevia.net we process your address and the content of your message in order to reply. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and, if a relationship follows, for the periods the law requires.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no cookies, first-party or third-party, and no analytics, advertising or profiling tools. That is why there is no consent banner.

Fonts are served directly from our own site. Links to external sites (for example LinkedIn or cosmicbeauty.it) lead to services that apply their own notices.

Who receives the data

Data is handled by our authorised staff and by the providers we use for website hosting and email, which act as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR). We do not sell or pass data to third parties. We may disclose it to authorities where the law requires.

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses (Arts. 45 and 46 GDPR). You can ask us about the safeguards in place by writing to info@althevia.net.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Write to info@althevia.net: we reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Changes

If the site changes, for example by adding a form or analytics, we will update this page before switching them on.
